I’ve known Jamie for, well, going on 4 years now. When we met, it was an INSTANT friendship. And I don’t mean the casual “Let’s do lunch this Wednesday!” kind-of-friend, I mean the, “Whoa, your butt looks huge in those pants, you might not want to wear those again!” kind-of-friend. We met when she started working at Merillat, and incidentally, I met her hubbie first about 6 months prior when he started working for Merillat (we affectionately call Jake “Mr Social”). Jake is a talented singer / guitarist – it’ll be fun to see how his musical talents influence the kids!
I had the honor and pleasure of shooting their first maternity pics along with all of their first born’s, Jolene, milestone pictures. (There’s a beautiful miracle behind the birth of Jolene and an even bigger miracle behind the scenes of this new one!) Anyway, I met up with the fam a few weeks ago to get these great shots. Jamie, you looked amazing – you definitely wear ‘prego’ well, sista! I cannot wait to meet your sweet new baby! Look for Jake & Jamie’s newborn pics to be posted on or around July 7th! <hugs>
