I think what I like the most about country living is that many of my clients have absolutely beautiful properties that make for the most breathtaking shooting locations.   Case-n-point, when Amber contacted me to book her Bump-to-Baby session and mentioned potentially shooting at her farm *and* that she wanted to incorporate her horses into her shoot, I did a small victory dance.  Got some strange looks from a few by-standers, but, I digress…  We started the session at two of my favorite pockets in downtown Manchester before we headed over to her farm… it was as stunning as she had described it!   Beautiful horses grazing leisurely in a rolling lush pasture, surrounded by pristine white fencing.    The sunlight was perfect when we started shooting and even in spite of it being mega-hot, Amber, with her adorable belly, was cheerful and willing.  I’m always grateful for clients like Amber that put considerable time and effort into preparing for their shoot – it always, always makes for perfection!  Amber, I am SOOO looking forward to meeting your baby boy.  You and Doug are going to make wonderful parents.  <hugs!>

While I was shooting away, Amber said she wished she had a camera to take pics of me slipped and sliding in the river in my attempt to capture the perfect shot.  LOL

Amber mentioned that her horses (two of them having been moms themselves) treat her different now that she’s expecting.  They regard her with curiosity and gentleness.

Amber’s most treasured mare…
