When I first met Shelby and Neal, I asked them, like I do every couple, “So… tell me how you met – tell me about the proposal!” I LOVE hearing about every detail. I settled into my spot on the couch and listened as Shelby began painting me a colorful picture of how their love unfolded, how Neal pursued her, how he thought she had two kids of her own (she didn’t), and how it took persistence for him to woo her. With her and Neal’s hands knitted together, she shared their story with me openly, with smiles and laughter. She talked about how they shared a genuinely and equally strong commitment to God, and how excited their parents were about their up-and-coming wedding.
I shot their engagement portraits this past October, their wedding in December, and now I am completely tickled to post images from their Day After shoot.
For those of you unclear as to what a ‘Day After’ shoot is all about, this is an additional à la carte option I offer wedding clients, typically held the day after their wedding. A completely non-stressed and unhurried shoot in their wedding attire, adding more beautiful imagery to their existing wedding collection.
