Danielle and Joe are two completely sweet people that I’ve enjoyed getting to know better as a result of being their wedding photographer. I was honored when they chose me to photograph their special day. As Danielle and I became closer, over the months leading up to their wedding, we both quickly realized that we had one huge thing in common – our love for our dogs. We wept together over each others loss (Zoey and Freya are watching over us both) and laughed at how these goofy 4-legged friends entangle themselves so tightly in our hearts. Their wedding was completely lovely; both the couple and their wedding party were a dream to work with. These two were so happy to be married, it was adorable and their love shone through in every shot. My friends, Joe & Danielle, – a heartfelt congratulations! *hugs*
When needing quiet time for prayer, Danielle mentioned she spent a LOT of time in the peaceful and beautifully lit bell tower of her church. She suggested that it would make a gorgeous location to shoot her dress and I couldn’t agree more. I love the play of the lines from the staircase and the gorgeous stained glass.
I couldn’t resist getting a shot of her dress with the beautiful steeple in the background.
Danielle, you are so gorgeous!!!
The added touch of live music by a talented quartet added to the uniqueness of their day.
Danielle very wisely planned for ample time in-between the ceremony and reception for the portraits we wanted to capture – both the formal portraits, and the magazine-style shoot I had in mind for them.
Does Joe not have the cutest, most genuine smile ever?!
This shot was for play and I like how it turned out. Danielle, you nailed the look *perfectly*! …Joe, you couldn’t erase that happy glimmer in your eye if I paid you! LOL
