Valedictorian | 2011 Senior

I am trying to catch up on blogging some neglected senior photography shoots from last season that only my Facebook peeps had the pleasure of seeing, and not any of my blog lovee’s.  This amazing young woman happens to be Hailey’s bestie.  If I told you all of the reasons why I, and so many others, think she is so amazing, I could write on and on and on.    So I’ll just say a few words, then on to the pics.   Let’s just say she’s a survivor.  Yes.  Of cancer.  And she’s the greatest gift my family could ever have just by knowing her.  Surviving cancer doesn’t define her but I believe it has helped sculpt the spirited, bubbly, LOVING, caring, generous, outgoing person she is today.  Did I mention she graduated at the top of her class?  She is my daughter, not by blood but by love.  She’s even found a special place in Neil-the-tough-guy’s heart.  She’s heading to University of Michigan for her Freshman year in a matter of days (yes, I told you these are neglected images).    Ok, on to the good stuff…

Kathleen’s senior portrait session represents a typical Urban shoot.

I made this collage up as a studio sample of all of my fav’s from Kathleen’s shoot.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out.  It’s sized as a 16×20 and comes mounted on art board.
