There are days when, in spite of all of the anxiety I might have about something (I am, after all, raising teenage girls…LOL)(and that was one of those crazy, high-pitched-been-losing-some-sleep LOL’s, hahaha), spending time with loved ones seems to evaporate any worries.
Today, for several sweet hours, I spent laughing, being silly and catching up with the people that know and love me best. Thanks [again] to my amazing Mom and Dad for hosting our traditional Easter Dinner, it was total bliss and I’m at least 5 pounds heavier.
Every family dinner my mum stressed about food getting cold too quickly, and having enough desserts. And every year, I try to tell her she could serve us cold leftover pizza… it’s just awesome spending time and enjoying each others company! At a certain point my cheeks hurt from laughing. We were missing a few family members but we did have the blessing of Hailey’s bestie Kathleen joining us.
Happy Easter everyone! I hope you were able to spend it with loved ones! I hope you got to laugh.
