I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet couple mid-January for a chilly but fun maternity portrait session. The best part of my job, hand’s-down, is the people I get to meet along the way. At a certain point during the shoot, we were all laughing and honestly, those moments are magical to me. I tend to say or do silly stuff during a shoot to elicit authentic emotion from my clients, who probably think, “She crazy!” but I’m thinking, “I have the best job ever.” This couple rolled with whatever I suggested and I loved how their portraits turned out.
AND…a HUGE thank-you to this couples friends for gifting them a Jennifer Bates Photography gift certificate for a baby shower gift! I always feel extremely honored when people gift my services to their friends or family because to me, that’s the highest compliment!
