As I type this, I can feel my heart pounding and some major positive energy flowing. I’m filled with love right now and here’s why:

Here is how it works… I invite you to nominate a deserving family, friend, co-worker, church friend, or neighbor who you feel would be blessed by this gift. Do you know a family going through hard times? Single mom or dad doing it all on their own? Someone with an illness, or cancer or just someone that YOU think is deserving of a photo session? A deserving military family (and aren’t they all deserving?)? You will be able to nominate them to win this beautiful gift! You cannot nominate YOURSELF. However, if you’re reading this and nodding along like, “Yep, we are definitely a deserving family!” then please have a friend submit a nomination for you. It’s that easy!
Submissions will be accepted beginning TODAY through Friday July 18th. The selected family or person will be announced here on my blog, and on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/jennbatesphoto) on Monday July 21st.
How to submit a nomination for a deserving family:
- Email [email protected]
- In the subject line, type “NOMINATION”
- Within the body of the email, please share with me why you felt compelled to nominate who you did. Please include as much detail as possible; the more details the better their chances. (For example, sending me an email that simply says “I nominate the Jones Family because they are truly great people.” isn’t enough. Tell me WHY they’re great and WHY you feel they deserve to win this!)
The winning submission will be selected by a panel of judges (some of my professional friends & family). The winning submission will receive a FREE portrait session along with a beautiful gallery wrapped canvas of their favorite image from their portrait session. Folks, this is valued at $720, so this would be an amazing gift for a very special family. No strings attached, no gimmicks! Just pure love here.
So with all give-aways, there’s always a few rules and here they are:
- You may not nominate yourself (have a friend nominate you and share your story!)
- Recipient must be able to travel to Brooklyn MI for their portrait session.
- The date of the portrait session is subject to my availability & must take place by November 1st, 2014.
- You may nominate more than one family or person
- The portrait session is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or studio credit.
- Portrait session will exclude newborn shoots.
- Nominations MUST be emailed to me. (no submissions thru Facebook, etc)
- All entries must be emailed to me by July 18th, 2014
