Sweet bliss! It always makes taking pictures more fun whenever you feel a connection with the family, and baby Oliver’s mom, Liz, felt like an old friend! We couldn’t get over how Oliver was able to sleep through the entire photo-shoot. We were just waiting for the second he would wake up and cry, but thankfully he was as peaceful as can be the whole time. I don’t know about you guys, but I am a sucker for little baby rolls, and this cutie was such a little chunk! Perfect in every way possible!
I’m in love with natural organic earth tones, which matched this little one’s sweet freshness. My favorite picture is the one where Oliver is resting beneath the quilt made by his very own grandmother. This image truly melted my heart! Bringing in this personal touch really made this photoshoot extra special for the entire family. I believe that this blanket will be something that Oliver grows up with and cherishes forever, and feel so blessed that I was able to capture the very first memory he had with the quilt and Mum was able to send a beautiful portrait of that image back to Grandmother in England. I am so blessed that I was able to work with this little angel!
At the end of the session we were even treated to a little peek of his gorgeous eyes. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Oliver and his sweet family <3
